Suicide&Co Launch their new ‘words unspoken’ project

“1 in 5 people are affected by suicide and yet stories of suicide-related grief are not openly or widely shared. Words Unspoken has been created to change this; to bring the rawness of grief into the light, build a resource that can help others resonate in shared experience and remind us all that we have company

“A few months ago we asked our community to submit a letter to the loved one(s) they have lost to suicide. We have amazingly received more than 70 letters, and counting. The collection creates a resource for those with lived experience, reminding them that they’re not alone and allowing them to resonate with others’ experiences. The collection can be navigated by relationship and time since bereavement to help our community to find solace in the stories of others in similar situations to themselves. We hope that by putting these honest, never-seen-before letters out in the open, we can break down the stigma and raise awareness of the importance of our mission in supporting those bereaved by suicide.
